2 Cups of Flour
4 teaspoonfuls of Baking powder
1/2 teaspoonful Salt
2 teaspoonful of Butter
1 Cup of Milk
Mix ingredients and work in butter with pastry blender and add milk slowley. remove enough of the liquid from the stew so that
when the dumplings are dropped into the kettle they will reast on top of the meat. Drop by spoonfuls and let cook about twenty
minuter. the stew should be thickened before the dumplings are added.
