I am looking for help in finding the parents of Joseph Hicks born abt. 1764 Married to Elizabeth Losee 1786 Schenectady NY. They are loyalist and moved to Canada abt. 1790. If anyone can help please e-mail me. Thank You, Stanley Hicks

I'm trying to find info on my materal grandmother and beyond. She was  born in Haverlock, N.B. Canada probably around 1880. She married Frederick Patterson who was born 18 Dec 1876.

Her parents were: Hazen and Zena Hicks.

She was married in 1909 and imigrated to northern Maine where my mother was born in Smyrna Mills.

Any help you can give me would be most appreciated.

My Father was Claude Hicks born in Union Sc in 1914. His father was also Claude Hicks married to Harriet Belle Price. They may have come from Pa and Canada, I'm not sure. Ended up in Fl.

My grandfather - Henry Herbert Hicks - moved to Canada shortly after he trained with the RAF in World

War I. I was told by my grandmother that he came from a family of  shipbuilders in England. Apparently his father and grandfather both worked as shipbuilders. My parents may know further information and I'll have to  see
what they know before I continue my research. I have visited your website and will return there to look for further information.
