This is the Hicks family of : Don and Judy Toft
My Greatgrandfather was Cyrus Eugene Hicks
He was born 3-7-1857 in Hastings Mn. (Dakota County). He died 8-8-1926 in Minneapolis, Mn. and was buried in the Lake Street Cemetary (Not sure that's an accurate name but the cemetary is on Lake Street) in Minneapolis. He was a carpenter who helped build many houses in Minneapolis.
He married Olive Lien on April 23, 1890 in Excelsior, Mn. She was born
5-30-1867
and died after childbirth 2-25-1906.
Their children :
Lilla Ruth Hicks (my grandmother). She was born in Mn. 2-8-1893 and died in Windom, Mn. 9-12-1980. She is buried in Lakeview Cemetary, Windom, Mn. She married Henry T. Hanson Nov. 11, 1911. Henry T. Hanson was born 9-2-1884 in Jackson County, Mn. and died 3-31-1976 in Windom, Mn. He is buried at Lakeview Cemetary, Windom, Mn.
