Query from Peggy Hicks
According to the 1930 US Census the Red River Township/West Port, TIllman County, Oklahoma. I'm attaching the Census page; Francis is a widow, and Talmage is my husband's father. From what I understand, the family has never been very close, and Talmage was so much older than my husband that there is not a lot to go on.
I do know that Francis's daughter Prudie had the family bible, which was passed to Talmage's eldest son, Merle. When Merle passed, it went to his daughter. As I said, the family has never been close, so I would have no way to find her. I had a bit of excitement researching my husband's mother... at about 2am, I found her on the 1930 census! She and her siblings were step children, and their sir name was misspelled on the census, so it took a lot of digging.
(Peggy, sent me a copy of the early 1930 Census where Francis is listed at home 194/195 Tilliman Oklahoma, Red River Township)
